In this new year of  I will be opening art trades and commissions! The prices will so far stay the same on commissions. As stated in last weeks journal 'I will only take commissions if you absolutely know what you want and have to points to pay then and there. I do not start a commission until I have been paid. If you are interested note me and we will discuss what you want, what references will be needed, style, etc. I like to be thorough with commissions.' Please read through my commission prices if you do not know what amount will be needed.

The living room clock resonates through the night…
As I sit here thinking, and conclude that my mind’s not right.
I imagine a pair of strong arms holding me tight,
Yet miles upon miles away, my husband is working with all of his might.
Another thought comes, and I ponder…
If I’d made the right decision would things have come to pass…
Or would a little longer my mother’s life had last?
Chasing away those thoughts before I cry
I think of yet another who never said goodbye…
Counting my blessings of which I have many,
And the future looks to have plenty…
Yet the past is hard to leave behind
Even though it hasn’t been so kind…
How do I move forward on my own?
With these feelings of being all alone?
Yet through this all, let it be known…
That my husband will one day be home…
Another best friend I will one day meet,
Though what I lost it will never replace…

smoke and ash
asbestos maybe, God knows
but certainly
no need to ask
what it is that
billows from a
funeral pyre
We stood in line
at the theater, bank
the newsstand
with magic bandanas
over our faces
eyes stinging, sneezing
no thought of
breathing, even if
you could
who would?
A full year
of wind, of rain
sweeping off the steps
but on cloudless
crystal days,
I still can’t stop
coughing.

deception and frustration,
seeking to move on to outer space
star dust of memories left behind
randomly fall on my eyelashes,

just a speck on my eye,

galaxies swirl around my head,
opportunities galore
and i don't know what to say
how can i choose the way?
inside this combustible heart,
each beat births a star,
wondering if your comet behaviour
will finally make you collide with me
which of us is the moon?
you orbit around me,
as soon as you go too far
gravity pulls you back
but your erratic ways
are making turmoil with my tide
waves of emotion that
create storms deep inside
in this (not so) empty space,
two planets attracted to each other,
can't resist the pull,
but we still try to fight
darling, moon, star,
comet, planet, sun,
surrender to
the laws of life,
crash against my atmosphere,

Wagon wheels bumped against the low dimple in the dirt as the ragtag band of pale elves passed through the woodland clearing. Cloudless summer skies stretching endlessly over the mountains of Mereth. Mild scent of honey drifted from the hanging branches. Occasional butterflies and other colorful insects floated lazily over the swaying blossoms, Warm sunlight stoking the gentle petals as the midsummer breeze tickled their folds.
